Books we Love (that you don’t already have)
For Mom’s Sanity
You are not just a feeding, soothing, diaper-changing machine. Your needs didn’t disappear when you became a mom—they just got buried under everyone else’s. In this season, your sanity is not optional. It’s essential.
We recommend carving out at least 10 minutes a day that's just for you. And no, a shower doesn’t count (that’s hygiene, not self-care). You don’t need an hour or a babysitter or a spa day—you just need a moment to remind yourself that you still matter.
Because every mom has a different version of what self-care looks like, we won’t recommend products in this section, but here are a few ways to stay grounded while raising kids.
Step outside and drink your coffee in silence (or in sunlight)
Journal one sentence about how you're really doing
Scroll your camera roll and reflect on how far you've come
Turn on one feel-good song and dance in the kitchen
Find a new book or show to dive into while nursing, pumping, or feeding
Text a friend and share a win or a meltdown
Read one page of a book that isn’t about babies
Try a 5-minute meditation or breathwork video
If exercise is your jam, we love the free FitOn app (workouts of all difficulties and timeframes)
Paint your nails (just one hand counts)
Say out loud: “I’m doing a good job.”
You don’t have to do all of it. But you do have to start believing that you are worth 10 minutes of your own time. Every day.
