I left my corporate job (that I loved...most of the time) to be a stay at home mom to my two boys in the fall of 2025. I wrestled with if I was making the right decision for me professionally, taking this pause, but this season has been such a gift. Yes, the days are long, but they're also deeply rewarding. We went to the park twice today just because it's nice out. That's pretty lucky, right? I do still grapple with guilt of getting out of the house and doing something for me, but I've also found I come home renewed. So as uncomfortable as that can be, I am trying to prioritize it.
